PORTRAITS
I work in a variety of mediums with professional grade materials. I have experience creating works for public, private and corporate entities.
Portrait Painting Procedure:
During the scheduled portrait sitting lasting 2 to 4 hours, I'll sketch the subject and take reference photos. We'll review selected photos for client feedback. If working from photos, we may have a second session for a color study.
I'll then complete the painting in my studio. While many portraits use photo references, I recommend live sittings when possible.
